HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (New Orleans, LA)

Fernwood Stone Energy Group is an energy provider in New Orleans focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on meter readings. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
