HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Nashville, TN)

Fernwood North Early Learning is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for tuition and subsidies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on tuition and subsidies. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
