HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Minneapolis, MN)

Nova Thistle Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Minneapolis region. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
