HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Knoxville, TN)

Westbrook Beacon Water Authority is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on capital projects. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
