HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Knoxville, TN)

Nova Wilder Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Knoxville. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on pipe repairs. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
