HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Kansas City, MO)

Westbrook Pike Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Kansas City and nearby communities. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing accounts. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
