HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Kansas City, MO)

Lumen Cross Legal Group provides legal services in Kansas City across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on intake forms. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with intake forms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
