HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Jacksonville, FL)

Fernwood Umber Facilities looks after properties across the Jacksonville region. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer sites. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with customer sites. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
