HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Jacksonville, FL)

Highbridge Lakeside Civic Services supports public agencies in Jacksonville with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
