HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Jackson, MS)

Summit Mill Arts Center Partners is an arts centre in Jackson with a full calendar of events, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on event logistics. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with event logistics. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
