HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Umber Foods and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on production batches. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
