HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Houston, TX)

Westbrook Maple Manufacturing is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on production lines. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
