HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Summit Drift Hospitality and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of about 593 people based in Houston. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on group events. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with group events. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
