HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Honolulu, HI)

Nova Umber Legal Group is a Honolulu practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing records. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with billing records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
