HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Honolulu, HI)

Northwind River Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Honolulu, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on maintenance stores. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with maintenance stores. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
