HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Honolulu, HI)

Summit North Construction is a Honolulu contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on change orders. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
