HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Honolulu, HI)

Fernwood Hospitality is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for housekeeping schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on housekeeping schedules. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with housekeeping schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
