HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Hartford, CT)

Amberfield Corner Auto Group is a Hartford company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on parts orders. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with parts orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
