HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Hartford, CT)

Greenridge Fern Legal Group provides legal services in Hartford across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 181 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on court deadlines. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with court deadlines. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
