HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Hartford, CT)

Ironwood Orchard Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Hartford presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on event logistics. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with event logistics. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
