HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Hartford, CT)

Northwind Wilder Markets serves neighbourhoods around Hartford with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on promotions. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
