HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Grand Rapids, MI)

Greenridge Hollow Freight Partners is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loads and lanes. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
