HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Grand Rapids, MI)

Clearpath Wren Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Grand Rapids region, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of about 520 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service connections. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
