HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Detroit, MI)

Nova Granite Water Authority is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on treatment plant data. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
