HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Detroit, MI)

Harborlight Cedar Banking Services is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for card disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 147 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on card disputes. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with card disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
