HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Detroit, MI)

Ironwood Meridian Hospitality is a hospitality company in Detroit with restaurants, rooms and catering. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on group events. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with group events. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
