HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Detroit, MI)

Ironwood Bright Press produces print and digital publications in Detroit. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on press runs. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
