HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Detroit, MI)

Harborlight Timber Learning Group is an education provider in Detroit serving students and families. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on family communication. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
