HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Detroit, MI)

Westbrook Beacon Staffing places workers with employers around Detroit, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of about 524 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on onboarding. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with onboarding. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
