HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Summit Housing and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of about 782 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on repair requests. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with repair requests. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
