HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Des Moines, IA)

Stonegate Mill Environmental Services is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on recycling loads. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • SHRM or HRCI certification.
