HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Des Moines, IA)

Stonegate Loom Auto Group is a Des Moines company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on warranty claims. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with warranty claims. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
