HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Des Moines, IA)

Nova Ivory Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Des Moines. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on fleet maintenance. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
