HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Des Moines, IA)

Nova Cedar Farms is an agricultural business based around Des Moines, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on packing house output. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
