HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Des Moines, IA)

Nova Granite Community Partners is a nonprofit in Des Moines supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of about 584 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on benefits enrolment. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
