HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Des Moines, IA)

Fernwood Keystone Care Services is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for visit scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on visit scheduling. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with visit scheduling. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
