HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Denver, CO)

Fernwood Umber Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Denver. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loads and lanes. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
