HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Columbus, OH)

Nova Ivory Civic Services Group works with county and city offices around Columbus, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on public records. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
