HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Columbus, OH)

Bluepeak Cedar Telecom Group is a telecommunications provider in Columbus focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on outage reports. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
