HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Columbus, OH)

Lumen Ember Early Learning is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for classroom supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on classroom supplies. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with classroom supplies. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
