HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Chicago, IL)

Harborlight River Community Partners Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for donor records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on donor records. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with donor records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
