HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Chicago, IL)

Fernwood Linden Hospitality is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for food costs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on food costs. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with food costs. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
