HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Silverline Drift Legal Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 199 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing records. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with billing records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
