HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Chicago, IL)

Ironwood Vale Community Partners runs community programmes across Chicago, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on grant reporting. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with grant reporting. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
