HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Thistle Staffing Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on retention. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with retention. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
