HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Chicago, IL)

Cedar Ashton Energy is an energy provider in Chicago focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on hardship programmes. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
