HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Lumen Ridge Construction and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on safety records. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
