HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Charlotte, NC)

Summit Mill Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Charlotte working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ridership counts. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
