HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Charlotte, NC)

Summit Mill Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Charlotte working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on survey data. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
