HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Northwind Timber Construction and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on materials orders. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
